We’ll design and curate your custom space for a cohesive, polished look that's magazine-worthy, comfortable, and cares for your functionality and organization needs.


Plus, we make it easy! Using our INSPIRED Style System, your home moves from Design to Done! We'll develop the design, procure furnishings and accessories, and oversee installation. IHI values your investment of time and money, and always respects your budget. We pledge our dedication, creativity, and expertise to pull together beautiful, thoughtful designs so you can enjoy and maintain your gorgeous new space!

From Design to Done:

1. Design Discovery


  • Complimentary 30 minute phone call to get acquainted.

  • We’ll chat though your design needs and ideas to get a sense of the scope of your project, timeline, and budget.

  • We’ll review IHI's design process and see if we’re a fit to work together on transforming your space!

  • Please note: It's okay if you don't know what you want. We're excited to get to know you and are happy to help you figure that out as we go!

  • After this meeting, we'll schedule and collect payment for Step 2, our Design Discussion together, where we'll give you lots of ideas for your space!

2. Design Discussion


  • 1-hour video conference or in-home meeting to dive into your goals for the space and help us get a deeper understanding of your personal style. 

  • We'll listen to your ideas, get a feel for the character of the space, and discuss your functionality and organization needs.

  • We'll discuss our initial ideas and recommendations to maximize and elevate your space.

  • In order to make the most efficient use of our time together, you'll fill out our Design Questionnaire in advance of our discussion.

  • After this meeting, IHI will provide a proposal to move forward with the design process (Steps 3-6). We'll sign a Letter of Agreement and collect payment to get started on your Design Plan.

3. Conecpt Kick-off

  • Video conference or in-home meeting to kick-off the project and set the direction for the design including color pallet, layout, materials, and organization.

  • IHI will review your inspiration images and/or help you narrow in on the look and feel we'll create for your space.

  • We'll get more specific measurements and take "before" photos so we can look back on the transformation.

  • We'll partner with you to schedule tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, painters) for estimates, as needed.

4. Inspiration Check-In

  • Video conference or in-home meeting to ensure we’re headed in the right direction, after 1-2 weeks of work on your Design Plan. This is when we begin to transform our previous discussions and ideas into visuals.

  • IHI will create a concept board for your space. This may be a mood board, collection of inspiration images, furniture layout ideas, and/or samples of finishes, fabrics, and paint colors for us to review together.

  • We'll chat through your likes and dislikes so we can refine the design.

5. Design


$ varies per contract

  • Video conference or in-home meeting to reveal the complete custom Design Plan for your space!

  • We’ll walk through a presentation of up to 2 floor plans with furniture placement and all specified elements: colors, finishes, fabrics, furniture, light fixtures, and accessories.

  • We’ll review 3D renderings of your design so you can get a sense of what it will feel like in your transformed space. 

  • If needed, we'll complete 1 round of revisions to tweak the design for your truly perfect fit. 

  • After the Design Plan has been approved, IHI will finalize all selections and collect payment for all products and materials. 

6. Order Management

  • IHI management of the details to bring this vision to life!

  • IHI will:

    • Order all products and materials​

    • Oversee construction of custom pieces by workrooms, vendors, or artisans

    • Track and coordinate deliveries, and help correct any issues (damaged items)

    • Manage tradespeople to complete installation within the timeline and help ensure loose ends are tied up (paint touch ups)

    • ​Provide installation troubleshooting and problem solving assistance
  • After this, simply enjoy your beautiful, comfortable, organized new space!
