Vibrant Powder room

The original powder room felt dated and crowded. The bathroom door was clogging the busy hallway and the noisy fan over the toilet was an eye sore.

 

Our homeowner wanted a beautiful space for the family and guests to all use, especially with the powder room located in the center of the home.

What did IHI do?

• Installed a pocket door into the bathroom, to allow for more room in the busy hallway

• Created a more open feel by installing a pedestal sink, still with plenty of counter space 

• Brightened up the room with colorful wallpaper, mimicking the look of tile

• Used the terra cotta color from the wallpaper as the tile floor grout to make the space feel connected and cohesive

• Partnered with our talented contractor team to design a unique solution for the bathroom fan (see video!) 

• Incorporated gorgeous sconce light fixtures (on a dimmer, of course) in addition to overhead lighting
