Whimsical Den

We loved creating this whimsical space for our Disney-collecting client.

 

Moving and downsizing can be overwhelming undertakings. It was a pleasure to put together our client's forever home, keeping his long-term needs in mind.

This den needed to do double duty: a desk workspace for day-to-day use AND a guest space for the occasional overnight visitor:

​

• We put together his Disney Lithography collection and had it hung (for the first time!) over his pull-out sofa

• We used his sentimental Disney pillow as the inspiration for the custom-made pillows we designed to enhance the cheerful, cozy vibe in this space

• We included lots of whimsical details like the honeycomb accent table, bunny bookends, and beautifully curved cabriole legs on the desk

• We sourced bright-colored art from a local photographer (and had it framed at our favorite local framer) to coordinate with the custom upholstered desk chair and other art pieces

• We added affordable, custom window shades that are easy to operate
