Blue Hues at Home
With an open floor plan, color is a fantastic way to connect the spaces for a coordinated, harmonious look and feel. We had so much fun showcasing all these blue hues throughout the living room and dining room.
The goals for the living room included creating ample seating for the family to lounge and watch tv together, and to make the space feel relaxing and inviting. We love how these blue hues help accomplish that! We carried the nailhead detail on the sectional sofa across the top so it can be enjoyed from all angles in this large, open space. The stone fireplace surround and custom mantle are gorgeous elements but the show-stopper is the carved, indigo sofa table. This unique piece is a stunner as well as a hard-working storage unit that's just the right height.
The dining room was designed to have an impact right when folks walk in the front door. We needed seating for large family gatherings and adore the scrolled legs on this extendable dining table. This space features a mix of old and new, with the beige China Cabinet which has been in the family for generations, positioned next to the coordinating-colored chandelier. We love how it's all come together.
