Delightful Dual Vanity

This shared bathroom only had one sink, and the location of the towel bars and the toilet tissue holder just wasn't working. Our homeowner tried warming up the space by adding hardwood floors, but the material couldn't hold up to all the water and traffic from the kids.

So, IHI went to work redesigning this space to truly work for this family, add the warmth another way, and to use materials that would last.

What did we do?

• ​Custom-designed this expanded vanity so each has their own station: sink, storage, mirror, outlet

• Replaced the lighting and put everything on a dimmer, of course!

• Incorporated beautifully detailed vanity hardware, adding a little sophistication for our two sisters who will be sharing this bathroom 

• Replaced the wood floors with a tile that looks like wood, in a mix of warm and cool hues to tie everything together

Now, this space is functional and beautiful for this family to use for years to come.
