Restful Bedroom
Soothing, Spacious, Sentimental
This primary bedroom had great bones but needed some polish to achieve this finished look and restful feel.
We expanded the color palette to bring in more green and rust hues, on top of the neutrals and blues. Green grasscloth wallpaper behind the bed added the necessary contrast, texture, and color. We layered an area rug over the carpeting and softened the space with patterned sheer drapes.
Replacing the too-small, black side tables with more appropriately sized, off-white nightstands created a more cohesive look. We love how the curves of the headboard are complimented with the nightstand legs!
In this spacious bedroom, we were able to add a bench at the end of the king bed as well as a seating area. We reframed the couple's painting from their honeymoon to create a special space for them to have coffee in the morning or unwind together in the evening.
